Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JGLS: Journal of Government and Legal Studies will undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic contribution of the published articles.
Each submitted manuscript will first be evaluated by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, writing quality, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be reviewed by independent reviewers through a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological quality, clarity of analysis, relevance, and contribution to the field of government and legal studies. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
The final decision regarding publication is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the manuscript’s academic merit.
