Author Guidelines
Authors who submit manuscripts to Lampung Journal of Criminal Law (LJCL) are required to follow the journal guidelines and publication standards. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for revision before the review process.
General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Articles may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Manuscripts should be prepared in an academic writing style and clearly structured.
- The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy of data, references, citations, and legal arguments presented in the manuscript.
Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should generally consist of:
- Title
- Author(s) Name and Affiliation
- Abstract and Keywords
- Introduction
- Research Method
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
Abstract and Keywords
- The abstract should briefly describe the purpose, method, findings, and conclusion of the study.
- The abstract should contain approximately 150–250 words.
- Provide 3–5 keywords relevant to the manuscript topic.
Citation and References
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- References should follow the citation style determined by the journal.
- All references cited in the text must be listed in the reference section.
- Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant scholarly references.
Publication Ethics
Authors must ensure that manuscripts are free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and unethical research practices. Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources are mandatory.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will undergo an editorial review and a peer-review process. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to the manuscript.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
LJCL applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of Rp. 200,000 for accepted manuscripts prior to publication.
