Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and have not been published or submitted to another journal simultaneously. Proper acknowledgment of sources must always be provided through accurate citation and referencing.

Authors are responsible for:

  2. Avoiding plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and data manipulation.
  3. Ensuring that all listed authors have significantly contributed to the research.
  4. Disclosing any conflicts of interest related to the manuscript.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts must be evaluated fairly without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or political beliefs.

Editors are also responsible for:

  1. Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  3. Preventing conflicts of interest in the publication process.
  4. Taking appropriate action regarding ethical complaints or misconduct.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in evaluating the quality, originality, and relevance of manuscripts. Peer review must be conducted objectively, professionally, and confidentially.

Reviewers are expected to:

  1. Provide constructive and timely feedback.
  2. Identify relevant published works not cited by the authors.
  3. Maintain confidentiality throughout the review process.
  4. Avoid reviewing manuscripts when conflicts of interest exist.

Publication Misconduct

LJCL strictly prohibits all forms of publication misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, citation manipulation, and unethical research practices. Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards will be rejected or retracted according to editorial policies.

Ethical Oversight
