Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Laciva: Lampung Civil Law Journal should follow the guidelines below:

  1. Scope
    Manuscripts must be related to the field of civil law and fall within the journal's focus and scope.
  2. Originality
    Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration by any other journal or publisher.
  3. Language
    Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English.
  4. Article Types
    The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers.
  5. Manuscript Format
    • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
    • Paper size: A4
    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
    • Line spacing: 1.5
    • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
    • Length: 5,000–10,000 words, including references.
  6. Manuscript Structure
    • Title
    • Author(s) name and affiliation
    • Abstract (150–250 words)
    • Keywords (3–5 keywords)
    • Introduction
    • Research Method
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgements (optional)
    • References
  7. Citation and References
    Authors should use APA 7th Edition citation style. References should primarily consist of recent and relevant scholarly sources.
  8. Ethical Standards
    Authors must comply with publication ethics, avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate submission, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  9. Plagiarism Screening
    All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using Turnitin or equivalent software before entering the peer-review process.
  10. Submission
    Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Authors are encouraged to carefully review their manuscripts before submission to ensure compliance with these guidelines.

Authors who do not follow these guidelines may be requested to revise their manuscripts prior to the peer-review process.
