Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Laciva: Lampung Civil Law Journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity by publishing only original and high-quality scholarly works. All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and comply with ethical standards in scientific publishing.

Every manuscript will be screened using Turnitin before entering the peer-review process. The journal applies a maximum similarity index of 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity score exceeding this threshold, or those containing evidence of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or improper citation, may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the Editorial Board.

Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and referenced. Any confirmed cases of plagiarism or other forms of publication misconduct will be handled in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and may result in manuscript rejection, article retraction, or other appropriate editorial actions.
